A Family Affair - The Vallelys
Hi, I’m Eamonn Vallely!
I was a part of Kirkendall Recreation Association for over 20 years. First, as a participant, then as a volunteer coach, and during the summer of 2020 I ran an outdoor program for boys 11/12 in Westdale as part of our childcare program. It was an incredible experience and I hope that the community continues to enjoy the Rez sports.
Hi, I’m Inaya Vallely
My dad took over the KRA the year I turned 4 (2006). Since then, for 19 years, I’ve been either playing or coaching. I’ve loved meeting the next generation of KRA kids and families.
Hi! I'm Mike Vallely!
Many of you know me as the face of the KRA. It’s hard to believe I’ve been doing this for 19 years. You may not know that I was handed the job back when it was a just a 3-ring binder. The previous organizers dropped it on our dining table and told me, “You’re in charge now, Thanks!”. It has been so much fun meeting so many amazing families in our community and seeing my kids grow from participants to coaches. That said, I am really happy to hand things over to the next generation. I’ll look forward to seeing all your familiar faces in our neighbourhood. Thank you for supporting the KRA!
Hi, I’m Sharmila Kulkarni!
I’ve been the behind-the-scenes person at the KRA. I brought us to the 21st century with websites, e-transfers and online registration. I love that our community connects at the “Rez”! When our kids were little it was my favourite activity. I’m so happy that we have been a part of this amazing tradition.
Hi, I’m Aesha Vallely!
I’m the last in the Vallely line. I’ve been at Rez soccer every one of my 18 years, as a baby with my siblings, a little player, or a coach. I’m off to Uni so my dad is retiring, BUT I might be back to coach next year!!
